Financial clarity for people doing meaningful work.
Veyla Financial helps companies and individuals build real financial stability—not through jargon or guilt, but through practical, human-centered planning that fits how people actually live and work.
Our
Values
Practical over perfect
We believe good financial planning meets people where they are. That means strategies built for real paychecks, real constraints, and real lives—not idealized spreadsheets or one-size-fits-all advice.
People first, always
Money stress shows up at work, at home, and everywhere in between. We design our programs and planning around human realities—reducing anxiety, increasing confidence, and supporting long-term wellbeing for individuals and teams.
Education creates stability
Clarity changes behavior. We focus on teaching people how money actually works—so they can make informed decisions, build resilience, and feel in control, even when income or circumstances change.
Trust is the foundation
As a fiduciary firm, we act in our clients’ best interests—always. Whether we’re working with a company or an individual, our advice is transparent, ethical, and grounded in long-term thinking.
OUR PEOPLE
Our team of professionals believe financial literacy should be accessible to everyone.
Jay Steffe
Founder, CEO
Jae Steffe is a Certified Financial Planner® with over seven years of professional financial planning experience and more than two decades working in the outdoor and seasonal employment world before founding Veyla Financial.
That combination matters.
Jae didn’t learn about financial stress in a classroom—she’s lived it. Years spent working in seasonal, hourly, and outdoor-industry roles gave her firsthand insight into the realities of irregular paychecks, limited benefits, and the quiet anxiety that comes from loving your work but struggling to make it sustainable.
As a CFP®, Jae brings rigorous financial training and fiduciary responsibility. As someone who has worked alongside seasonal and hourly employees for most of her adult life, she brings empathy, credibility, and practicality.
This dual perspective shapes everything Veyla Financial offers:
Financial wellness programs that actually resonate with employees
Education that’s grounded in real-world constraints, not idealized budgets
Planning strategies that work for people with variable income and unconventional careers
Jae founded Veyla Financial to close the gap between traditional financial advice and the lived reality of modern work—helping both employers and individuals create stability without sacrificing the work they care about.
